inVision U has been selected to join the inaugural Innovation Sandbox cohort of the Future Universities Alliance—a global network of universities and education innovators established at Duke University to foster collaboration and advance new approaches to higher education.

The inaugural cohort brings together 49 organizations from 23 countries across North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. inVision U is the only institution from Central Asia selected to participate, representing the region within a global community of universities committed to reimagining learning, designing innovative academic programs, enhancing the student experience, and shaping the future of higher education.

The Future Universities Alliance connects both emerging and established institutions that are redefining the role of higher education in response to rapid technological change, evolving labor markets, and growing demand for accessible, high-quality education.

Through the Innovation Sandbox, participating institutions will spend a year collaborating with university founders, academic leaders, and higher education experts from around the world to exchange ideas, share experiences, and develop solutions to some of the sector's most pressing challenges.

For inVision U, joining the Alliance reflects the university's commitment to building an educational model that combines international best practices with solutions tailored to the needs of Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian region. Participation in the program will provide opportunities to collaborate with leading universities worldwide, explore innovative educational approaches, and further strengthen the university's academic programs.

The Innovation Sandbox will run from July 2026 through June 2027 and will include regular knowledge-sharing sessions, collaborative workshops with academic leaders and university executives, and a global summit hosted in Durham, North Carolina, USA.
