Changes to the Admission Requirements for the Digital Media and Marketing Program

inVision U: Important update for Digital Media and Marketing applicants
If you are considering the "Digital Media and Marketing" program at inVision U, please read this carefully. Admission requirements have changed, and it is better to be aware of this now rather than at the last minute.
What exactly has changed?
The "Digital Media and Marketing" program has moved from the "Journalism" field of study to "Marketing". The UNT (Unified National Testing) requirements have also changed. Previously, applicants were required to pass a creative exam.
Now, the required profile subjects are mathematics and geography. This change is effective with the current admissions cycle. If you are a citizen of Kazakhstan this specific combination of subjects is an important step in your admission process.
Why is it important to understand this correctly?
Marketing today is about data, analytics, and understanding the market and the consumer. Mathematics and geography more accurately reflect what digital specialists actually do: they work with metrics, analyze audiences, and build strategies based on numbers. However, the program itself has not changed. Journalism, podcasts, SMM, visual storytelling, marketing analytics, and AI in media remain part of the curriculum. Only the admission requirements have shifted.
Summary:
- For citizens of Kazakhstan applying via UNT, the profile subjects are mathematics + geography, with a minimum score of 80.
- A creative exam is no longer required for this program.
- All other admission conditions remain the same: application form, video presentation, and personal qualities test — all due by May 30.
- If you have any questions, the inVision U team will respond within 24 hours. Email us at info@invisionu.education or contact us at +7 771 070 73 70 (WhatsApp accepts written messages only).
